Bitumen Products

We export a variety of bitumen grades, suitable for applications in construction, road paving, and waterproofing. Our offerings  include

Here are the four main grades of bitumen commonly used in the industry, each with specific characteristics tailored to different applications

Penetration Grade Bitumen

This grade is widely used in road construction and pavement maintenance. The penetration grade defines the hardness or softness of the bitumen, determined by how much a standard needle penetrates the bitumen under specific conditions

Common Grades

60/70: The most commonly used grade for moderate climates
40/50: Suitable for high-temperature regions
80/100: Ideal for colder climates due to higher flexibility

Viscosity Grade Bitumen

Classified based on viscosity (flow resistance), this grade is suitable for areas where precise control of bitumen flow is required at different temperatures

Common Grades

VG 10: Used in cold and rainy areas where high flow is needed
VG 30: Suitable for highways and roads with heavy traffic in moderate temperatures
VG 40: Ideal for industrial roads and regions with hot climates

Oxidized Bitumen (Blown Bitumen)

This type is produced by passing air through hot bitumen, resulting in a material with higher viscosity and lower temperature sensitivity. It is widely used in roofing, waterproofing, and industrial applications

Common Grades

85/25: Suitable for waterproofing and sealing
95/25: Commonly used in roofing applications115/15: Designed for industrial uses requiring high durability

Cutback Bitumen

Cutback bitumen is produced by blending bitumen with a solvent to reduce viscosity, making it ideal for cold weather applications and surface dressing. The type of solvent used determines the curing time

Rapid Curing (RC): Suitable for surface treatments

Medium Curing (MC): Used for road priming and tack coating
Slow Curing (SC): Ideal for base and sub-base stabilization
